Reflection (17/07/07)

This morning,as usual, I had my morning run. Out of the total strength of 22 people in class, I came in 7th position. I felt very satisfied as I've met my own target. Though it was a challenging route whereby we have to run a certain distance of road and, most of the time, up and down the stairs, I believe that I can do it. I know myself the best. I know that I can run but if I were to compete with people like hui yu or jin heng, I'm definitely way far behind them. So, every time I tell myself that it's ok if I really cannot meet the time limit, at least to complete the race without walking. That's the whole point of such exercise. Perseverance and never-give-up attitude is essential. Same goes for your lifelong journey, you don't give up halfway when problem arises, or rather, you evaluate the areas that has gone wrong and from that point, you pick up yourself, you learn from your mistake and MOVE ON.. Life is a long and wide road, we don't know where specifically our future lies but always remember, keep your passion burning, persevere on and stay positive! All the best ya'll!! :)
