Believe In Your Heart..

Oh God! Thank You for strength.. Finally i've managed to clear all the emails accumulated yesterday.. That's amazing. This morning, as I woke up with a pair of sleepy eyes and lethargic feeling, I dragged myself down to work. I was so worried that i couldn't clear those emails by today and would, possible, have to do OT to recover.. I shouted to the Lord this morning, "May God give me strength... God, you must help me with this!!" :) So happy.. I'm done with the emails. I'll just have to wait for today's asigned task and incoming calls. =D

ARGHZ!

My goodness! what a day.. My outlook email was down. No emails was shown on inbox.. Initially, MSN was down too.. but it revived again in the afternoon.. Halleujiah! But my other temp friends couldn't access to their MSN, so i can't chat with them.. *sighz* Anyway, they are busy playing their games too.. So.. what the heck! I did almost nothing today.. i can't imagine how i'm going to go through my day tomorrow. There are actually lots of emails which has been sent to us today... callback, waiver info, disputes over charges etc.. I'm gonna be so dead tomorrow. I doubt that i can leave the office on time tomorrow.. think i'll have to work OT... *sob sob*.. Arghz!! and that 'ggoooossseee" came back from [bombay].. so surprising.. I thought he'll be back only next week.. once again, i'll be hearing song.. "~~ I believe I can fly.. I believe I can touch the sky...~~".. oh gosh... What a day... -.-"

Reflection (30th January 2008)
Last night, Thomas and I met up for a short dinner at Suntec City’s Foodcourt, located at Basement 1. As I was eating my food, Thomas kept on complaining about the customer service these hawkers gave to him. He felt so frustrated and disappointed as these people served him with a half-hearted attitude. He stated that those hawkers in Thailand were much better than hawkers in Spore. I understood how irritating this could be but I told him, “You won’t benefit much from the customer service provided but rather, the main objective is the food. You are consuming the food, not the service attitude. I would rather to stay in Spore. At least in Spore, there are lots of healthy foods available. Hawker stores are more hygienic than those in Thailand.” True??

CAIRO - Al-Azhar, Sunni Islam's highest seat of learning, today declared that any woman pregnant by rape must abort the baby immediately in order to maintain "social stability".

"A raped woman must terminate the pregnancy immediately upon learning of the pregnancy if a trusted doctor gives her clearance for the abortion," the Islamic Research Council of the Cairo-based institution said in a statement.

This would ensure "social stability", it said.

According to the independent Egyptian Centre for Women's Rights (ECWR), two women are raped every hour in Egypt, a country of 76 million.Many factors contribute to the increase in sexual harassment including rising unemployment, the huge cost of marriage and the fact that sex outside marriage is forbidden, experts say.

Today I read about this news on the paper and i got so frustrated. I was furious not because these woman are careless. I was furious with the rule given out to these woman. I felt sad for these people. They shouldn't impose such an inhuman rule. Life is precious. Although these woman are violated, that doesn't mean these babies have to be taken away. I felt that such abortion is cruel. Common instinct would tell you to retain this child.. Though it was sad to hear such things but the child is innocent. They should spare a life for them. In addition, these people should find the culprit out and punish them severely. Rapist should deserve this punishment!
