Jabez

In the book of chronicles, Jabez was out-stood by the rest of the people. Jabez was been honourable. The Hebrew meaning of Jabez is actually "painful". It must be that Jabez is a "handicapped man". As I was reading through D.D about Jabez, I began to reflect upon myself.

Speaking of been handicapped, I think all human being are handicapped. The disabilities may not be that obvious to see but neither are we flawless. Jabez must have have knew that he was handicapped in a way and that He seeks and press in to God for He is the supplements for Jabez.
Day and night, Jabez's spiritual hunger grew even more as He becomes to pray to God. Thereafter, God hears his prayer and began to bless abundantly.

I want to be Jabez as well. So what if people look down on us? It is as equal as people looking down on themselves. I want to gain back to desire I have in Him and I want more of Him. I don't want to indulge myself with wrong doings but I want to be discerning enough to differentiate right and wrong.
